After Hours Care

When the office is closed, you have several options. Always call 911 for a true medical emergency.

Medications

Refer to the Dosing Chart if needed. Please note that medications will never be called in after hours.

Call (864) 661-5278

Call our office number and choose the “urgent” prompt to be connected with the nurse or doctor on call. You may be assessed a $25 fee for utilizing this service for non-urgent issues. You may also choose the “non-urgent” option to leave a message for non-urgent questions or to schedule an appointment. You will receive a call back when the office opens the next business day.

Text via the Spruce App

We offer a HIPAA secure, free and easy, text messaging service as a convenient feature for busy parents. You can even send us pictures!

Simply download the free Spruce app on your Apple or Android device and register. You should register with each child’s name if possible. Please make sure to only send messages under each child’s account, as these messages will become part of the medical record.

During office hours, text messages may not be responded too quickly, as we are busy seeing patients. If you would like to schedule a same-day appointment, it is always fastest to call us during business hours.

When the office is closed, until 10pm, sending a message via Spruce will connect you directly with Dr. Bragg, and she will respond within one hour. Please note that non-urgent issues may be assessed a $20 after-hours fee and that medications will not be called in when the office is closed.

Urgent Care

We always prefer you contact the practice before going to any urgent care or emergency room, as we may be able to save you that trip. However, if your child needs urgent medical treatment, we suggest that you be seen by dedicated pediatric providers such as those at AnMed Health Kids' Care or Prisma Children's Hospital.

COVID-19 Message

Tiger Pediatrics takes the safety of our patients and staff very seriously. We are adjusting our office procedures as-needed during the Covid-19 pandemic to continue providing safe care to patients. Please read the details below before your next visit.

Telehealth Visits

If you have a known COVID exposure or a positive at-home COVID test, we ask that you schedule a Telehealth visit. You will need to download the Spruce Health app prior to your appointment. If testing is needed it will be completed in the car, and you should call upon arrival.

Masks

All adults and children older than 3 years of age must wear a mask when inside our building at all times. Our staff will also be in masks at all times.

  • Children 2-3 years old should be encouraged to wear a mask.
  • If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you.
  • Please DO NOT remove your mask in the exam room.
  • If you are wearing a mask with an exhalation valve, you will be asked to change to another style or cover the valve with another mask.

COVID Testing

We offer in-office rapid antigen testing for SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) and a combo Flu/SARS-CoV-2 test. Testing is available for current patients only, on a case-by-case basis. If the test is not covered by your insurance, or you are uninsured, it will need to paid at the time of service.

Vaccines and Flu Shots

  • All vaccine-only visits (including flu shots) will be by appointment only, no walk-ins.
  • Vaccine visits can be done in the office or in the car. Please let us know your preference.
  • Masks are still required for these visits.
